It does feel a little flimsy though. So far I haven't had a problem, but the rubber pads fell off (and felt more sturdy after I removed them. on a desk you care about, I would recommend removing the rubber pads and using a thick cardstock or thin wood to protect your desk from the clamp. That's what I did and it feels much sturdier. Also the socket that the arm itself sits inside of feels very loose, and the adjustable knob doesn't really help with that, just makes it harder to articulate the arm. The arm itself is pretty stiff too, so the combination of the loose mount/socket exacerbates this. However, for the price-point, combined with the Seiren-mini price-point - Its a great value for the money.
