Review: Great way to breathe new life into aging but still great sounding headphones. - Thrilled to bring new life and purpose to my Bose QC2 headphones. Yes, mine have the "notch" on the connector, so there were no issues with fitment. The adapter slips right in and looks like it could be part of the original design. Pairing to two devices was easy, and the controls work as expected. Sound quality is very good for movie and TV viewing. Listening to music warranted tweaking the player app's equalizer, but that, too, yield very good results. I have musical equipment that requires the use of corded headphones, so I need to keep this 10+ year-old Bose set around indefinitely. I just replaced the earpads and now, with this adapter, they've got a lot of life left with much greater functionality.

I was talking with a friend that mentioned some companies have been making Bluetooth adapters to push old tech into the current generation. After a very brief search I found this. My thoughts on this.. Pros Small, sleek, and portable. The device barely adds any extra weight and isn't noticable with long term use. The pair process is quick and straight forward and has been compatible with every device I've tested this on thus far. The audio produced is what I've come to expect from a Bose product. The charge on the Bluetooth piece is a good couple or hours of continuous listening and recharging doesn't seem to take very long. Cons The wired connection to charge this is older micro USB. If you are using your phone and have it your pocket and kneel down the signal will become distorted. The distance you can move from a connected device seems much shorter than today's bt devices. Overall I'm pleased with this piece. It's helped breathe life into an old pair of headphones that would have only seen use on an old ipod or with late night computer use. Works great for outdoor walks, yard work, exercise, or while just trying to enjoy your favorite music without a cord.

**Q: Will this work with QC2 headphones?**
A: they do work with qc2 headphones,  i have them and this adapter,  it works well, HOWEVER, the microphone is facing backwards. 

my wife is 6' away from me at her desk and it picks her up as much as it picks me up.

**Q: Can I turn off the beeping noises that play every time I press play and use the volume buttons?**
A: When you change the volume or use the play button, there will be a sound that tells you that you are doing something, and it is also a sign that the operation was successful or not, which usually cannot be changed.

A: Sorry, this only works with Bose QC15 headphones.

**Q: Will this sync with Apple TV ?**
A: If the Apple TV had the Bluetooth Function, it could be repaired with our Bluetooth Adapter.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Update - Perfect Bluetooth Replacement for Wired Headset

An update to my review below. I am ecstatic I purchased this adapter. I use it frequently, it performs perfectly, and I have not experienced any issues. Hopefully your experience will mirror mine. (07/07/2026) I highly recommend this Bluetooth conversion if it fits your Bose wired headset. I have an older pair of the Bose QC2 wired headset. The pads needed replacement and everything else I have is Bluetooth so, I had already put them in the donate pile. Fortunately I saw this attachment advertised so, I replaced the pads and bought this adaptor and I am so very pleased I did. The quality, fit, connectivity, and function is perfect. If you can use it, I highly recommend buying it for your Bose headsets. It works reducing the noise level as well as before if not better, and it simply clicks in place.
