Most of the downy beads are pretty obnoxious to my nose. After using this product my clothes smell really good, but not in a fakey, perfumey way. The scent is there, but it is not obnoxious or cloying. I use a couple shakes of it in a large load. After getting such good results from the lavender scent, I also tried the Honeysuckle scent.
