When I open the packaging, I found the piece you pound the rivets on was rusty around the edges and the piece that you hit with the hammer was plastic. I was disappointed but in all fairness, I had to try hitting the plastic piece you hit with the hammer before I could give a fair review. It held up well without affecting it after 56 hits with the hammer. There was no scratches or bending of the plastic piece. That piece is made with a type of hard plastic that may last for a long time. The round piece that you pound the rivets on has rust but it is still functional hence my rating of 5 stars. Would I buy this set again?
