I was skeptical first, but after trying it for the first time it went very well I underheated the skillet first and didn't manage to get a nice looking steak, but it was tasty and I managed to make it medium-well since first time. Seasoned cookware requires special care compared to regular pots, but it wasn't difficult at all. The lid was much heavier than the base and you must take good care of it. It cannot be air dried or else it will rust. As per the instructions it is normal, just gave to wash it off and reseason it.
