Review: Reliable and bright - These are perfect for my snakes, I have them set up on a timed power strip and they always flip on in the morning. I’ve only had to replace one in the past year so I’d say it’s a good quality bulb. My snakes like them and sit under them in the day so no complaints on functionality and quality. The price is reasonable compared to other sellers and fit perfectly in my dome lamp.
Review: Brand has only failed me one time since 2019 - I have been using these bulbs since 2019 for my chameleons and I can’t really complain. When they were babies, the enclosures were much smaller and I started out with smaller deep dome and used the smaller size mini 13 watt. It worked great. I switched out the bulb every 6 months and after a year I eventually switched to the 5.0 26 watt when I got a larger cage and deep dome. There is a place on the bulb to record the date of first use, which is especially helpful if you have multiple companions. Timing can get confusing when the replacement dates vary. In 4 years, over 7 bulbs, I have only had an issue with one burnout. You may think 1/7 isn’t great but I am pretty happy over all. The company even sent me out a replacement for the one that blew out, free of charge, which is stellar customer service. I absolutely recommend this brand for your reptilian uvb needs.

**Q: Can this fit into a 5.5 deep socket dome clamp lamp? it is also by zoomed.**
A: I know this question is old but just for people's reference since it's the top question... *IF* you're talking about what Zoo Med calls their "MINI Deep Dome" (or Dual MINI Deep Dome) which is 5.5" deep domes, and the bulb in question is one of their own "Mini" UVB CFLs (the 13 watt ones) then it's all part of their "Mini" line and will work together.  Just like their "Nano" domes and "Nano" bulbs... And further, these Zoo Med Mini CFLs (13 watt) will just barely fit in /some/ standard (non-deep) 8.5" domes (your generic clamp lamp size) and are a bit too tall for others.  If whatever dome you're using has just over 4" from the socket edge to the rim-line you should be good.  The total bulb length including the base is about 5 and 1/8 inches, and about 4" is what sticks out above the socket... give or take.  

At least one of these other answers appears to be referencing the full size Zoo Med UVB CFLs (26 watt) which are longer.  And contrary to what someone above said the Zoo Med "Mini" line of deep domes may not be full size 8.5" deep domes but they are absolutely deep domes, just the 5.5" variety... 4+ inches deep to the socket edge, deeper than a standard 5.5" dome.  Most 5.5 inch domes in the reptile hobby are "deep" to some extent... Not as deep as an 8.5" deep dome but as deep as an 8.5" standard dome.

**Q: Is this for leopard geckos?**
A: leopard geckos ,  you need to learn so google care sheet and read lighting listed. They dont get uvb . they like dark. infrared , be easy on the bright

**Q: Does it work with a dimmer?**
A: Not designed for use with a dimmer, that being said it will work with a dimmer but bulb life will be greatly reduced...

**Q: can this fit in a 51/2 dome light?**
A: Maybe. It all depends on how you have the dome light. The bulb is not that long, but if its on top of the animals home it would not. If the light is hanging than yes, there is a possibility. I hope this answers help.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The only bulb I use/recommend!

Coil UVBs are NOT good. These bulbs? Great. Even better if you can get the linear bulbs also by Zoomed that go across the entire enclosure. But these will do great if you’re on a budget or have a small setup. Have used these for my two crested geckos, one is 20g and one is 5g, both use the same bulbs (different wattage, though) for each of their tanks. Plan to upgrade to the T5/T8 lights when I’ve got the expendable money but I’ve had no issues so far. Doesn’t get hot, no health concerns for the geckos, great price point, lasts a long time. Solid bulbs! Not much else to say, I recommend these to anyone needing a UVB for a reptile!
