Review: Air today, gone tomorrow. - Used in a commercial setting to deflect air away from an employee's eyes. This was used on a 2' x 2' ceiling air / duct diffuser. The employee is very happy, and the installer is very happy with the ease that the adjustable size and magnets for attachment. My guess is that the deflector will outlast the employee.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this redirect the heat/air to the top or to the side?**
A: Neither. My air was going straight up & causing my paper towels (on wall holder above air vent), to unroll. My vents are on the floor. The air continues to come up and the deflector  stops it from all going straight up and directs it straight out at floor level. The second one I purchased was for a vent below a window which was because my window was fogging up (not good for the window), so the air no longer goes straight up to the window (so air is redirected straight out into the room). I am glad I purchased these as they do what I wanted and my vents are metal so the magnets hold them in place nicely. They are clear plastic so they look just fine.

**Q: Does this work on wall AC vents?**
A: probably not.  It is held in place by magnets on the bottom.  Not likely strong enough to keep this on the wall - unless you used something like Gorilla 2-sided tape.  That might work

**Q: Will this work on a GE large window ac**
A: you might be able to make it work but the case around the vent should be metal because they use magnets to hold this on . you might be able to reconfigure it i don't know   !!

**Q: What is the height**
A: Height is 4 5/8 inches when measured on a flat surface.  However, if measured when properly sitting on the heating grate, they are 4 1/2 inches. Hope this helps

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works, can get cracked in shipping if in plastic bag instead of box

Good! This is the only product I found that would fit my type of baseboard register. Ordered two, and one was cracked, but that may have been due to shipment in a plastic bag with no cushioning instead of an Amazon cardboard box. The manufacturer packaging is a regular thin cardboard box, and the plastic is rigid, so any impact would crack it. (Amazon, you should ship this in a cardboard box.) I kept the cracked one anyway bc it still works and is hidden from view behind a sofa. I just wish I could find a duct piece to attach to go under the sofa. They make one for other styles of wall and floor vent but not this one. The pictures are if one under long curtains, not the one behind the sofa. One star off for it being cracked or not being durable, but I would buy it again.
