**Q: Is this knife made in the USA?**
A: nope, made it china.  very cheap blade, arrived with bent blades, so did the replacement.  do not buy

**Q: Do the blades lock in place?**
A: Yes but not in the way that other knifes I have had do. There is not a place to press on back to release if that is what you mean.  I would say that they snap in place more than lock.  It takes considerably more effort to close them once the blade "snaps" into place.  I use this knife constantly and although my previous knife was a litte larger and did lock into place with a release "button" on back, I have had no problem with it shutting on me and I had cleaned probably 100 fish with this, which is a slippery job and never had a problem.  Hope that helps.

A: 2 3/4 inches.

**Q: Do the blades lock on thIs pocket knife?**
A: No they do not.   great for fingernails, envelops, a little whittling.   Perfect size for your pocket.
