If you get intermittent black screens, it's probably the cable, and that's exactly why you go out an spend a little more on a VESA Certified cable. It's guaranteed to work. No black screens. This is a nice cable. The plugs are nice and small and the cable has a quality look and feel, and it's reasonably flexible The higher the bandwidth the less flexible cables become, this is an unfortunate fact, but this cable is still reasonable. It's doesn't have any of those stupid locking tabs on it, you know - the ones that always break and get the plug stuck in the monitor or the back of your computer, and honestly that's one of the reasons I bought new cables. Highly recommended. It's a good price for a premium VESA Certified cable.

Digital cables work... or they don't. If you get intermittent black screens, it's probably the cable, and that's exactly why you go out an spend a little more on a VESA Certified cable. It's guaranteed to work. No black screens. This is a nice cable. The plugs are nice and small and the cable has a quality look and feel, and it's reasonably flexible The higher the bandwidth the less flexible cables become, this is an unfortunate fact, but this cable is still reasonable. It's doesn't have any of those stupid locking tabs on it, you know - the ones that always break and get the plug stuck in the monitor or the back of your computer, and honestly that's one of the reasons I bought new cables. Highly recommended. It's a good price for a premium VESA Certified cable.
