Story is based on Netflix series but consequences and details are different. Compared to Netflix series, Hilda seems to be less confident of herself (she cries several times in 3 books. I think she cries only once in Netflix series) and have more difficulties in adapting to trolberg, school and sparrow scout. Also, people around Hilda seems harsher to her. I enjoyed reading 3 books, but some people may not like differences from original.
