Review: Quality and tolerance is the best - This fit perfectly with no effort whatsoever. The 3.14" is spot on. I just pushed it into the recess and tightened the screws down. The last one never fit correctly and eventually fell out and broke (won't say the brand but not Kastlite). I definitely would buy again from Kastlite. It is very lightweight, easy to install and worth every penny.

A: No side hole for screws, but you can press screws into the bottom lip to keep it in place.

A: The fixture that comes with fan???  What are you talking about?

**Q: How do you hold the glob in place**
A: there are 3 screws in the base of the fixture that tightens down over the neck of the Globe

**Q: Looking for a clear globe wih a 3.25neck that is open on the bottom.**
A: Globe is a little smaller that 3.24" but the screws in on fixture tightened down on it easily and held it just fine. The is NOT a clear globe... it is white plastic.
