Review: Must have - Nice sound deadening material. Used in a system with high-output low frequency and it performs well. Noticeably reduces panel vibration and unwanted rattles, tightening up the overall cabin feel. Easy to cut, apply, and it bonds down solid once rolled in. Solid improvement where it matters most.
Review: It really helps - This is sound deadening material, doesn't make it sound proof. It is a necessity in a van. You will still get bit of road noise but not that tinny echo sound of an empty van. It is also not an insulation, in fact, it gets as hot as the metal it is tacked to. After some internet searching I decided it was worth the money and got two packs of the 24x48 9 set for our Metris van. I pretty much got the entire inside covered: ceiling, floor, walls, wheel wells. I know some are happy with just a one foot square in a 3 foot square area but I wanted everything covered. I can't tell you if it made a huge difference if I just place some here and there I just know it works. I rolled most of it but used a thin smooth piece of wood to get into tight areas. You do need to press it down to make sure it sticks. But once on it stays. I did get some Dynamat tape to cover the areas were two pieces meet. If you have anything like clothes or something and store it next to an area that isn't covered the back tar like stuff will stick to them. The tape covers those areas. Great product, well worth it.

A: The product description is correct. The Mega pack is (9 sheets 24" x 48" = 72 sq ft.) which is what I purchased but, there are also smaller packs ie. 36 sq ft and a smaller size than that depending on the size of your job. Cheers Kim

Nice sound deadening material. Used in a system with high-output low frequency and it performs well. Noticeably reduces panel vibration and unwanted rattles, tightening up the overall cabin feel. Easy to cut, apply, and it bonds down solid once rolled in. Solid improvement where it matters most.

This is sound deadening material, doesn't make it sound proof. It is a necessity in a van. You will still get bit of road noise but not that tinny echo sound of an empty van. It is also not an insulation, in fact, it gets as hot as the metal it is tacked to. After some internet searching I decided it was worth the money and got two packs of the 24x48 9 set for our Metris van. I pretty much got the entire inside covered: ceiling, floor, walls, wheel wells. I know some are happy with just a one foot square in a 3 foot square area but I wanted everything covered.
