A: The reason you see a disproportionate amount of reviews from women is because women tend to have anemia or low often more than men due to menstrual-related heavy bleeding, caused by medical issues such as fibroids or endometriosis. In fact, this product is very popular in fibroid recovery support groups (how I heard of it). However, it's not specifically formulated for women, it's just an effective product for low iron.

A: I had to stop using this product because the iron constipated me.

**Q: does it have enough vit c in it? it seems kind of low for helping with absorption.?**

**Q: Why are these vitamins in tablet form which is the worst to digest?**
A: Following up with the manufacturer would give you the best answer, all i can suggest is buy the liquid form if u have digestive issues. I have no issues with the tablets.
