I purchased it to be used as a temporary measurement ground on a metallic ground plane in an electromagnetic measurement laboratory. In the function above, I need a very low resistance attachment point on a sheet metal ground plane for measurement return purposes. This attachment point is ever changing, so the magnetic approach is perfect. For the purposes above this clamp worked perfectly. It’s easy to move and attach, offers a good wire connection surface with threaded holes, and provides a very low resistance point to the ground plane (20m).
