Is this normal?** A: Yes. This is normal especially if you are used to using pigment inks which tend to be very wet. These inks are kind of blend. They have pigment ink and dye ink fast drying) properties. Jennifer McGuire has 2 fantastic YouTube videos introducing these inks. They are well worth watching and include some great simple project ideas. Enjoy those inks. They are awesome. **Q: Would you be able to use these for stamping and embossing?** A: Yes! I think that is how most folks use Tim Holtz Distress ink. Tim has several videos on Youtube demonstrating how to use the inks. Other artists do too. If you search You tube for stamping videos using Tim Holtz Distress inks you will find many ideas. These inks are a great product. ENJOY! **Q: Do these work with yupo paper or will the ink bead up?** A: These inks are like a hybrid ink, so although there may be some beading, they should dry in a short time (faster with a heating tool). It will depend on how you intend to apply the ink. I tried it on alcohol ink card stock which has some simIlar properties to Yupo. Using a blending tool, no problem, no beading, died very quickly. Stamping an image did bead a little before drying more smoothly. These inks are great for so many things, but for crisp quickly drying stamped images, Ranger’s Archival inks are probably better.
