And also would it rip if you tried to sew it on to something?** A: Hello, Hot glue will work just fine and will stick to it, of course you will want to let the clay dry after you are done shaping it before you apply the hot glue. We have successfully sewed the Foam Clay in the past. Depending on your project we would highly recommend Priming it before you sew. To Prime the Foam Clay we recommend using something like Plasti Dip or a priming paint. This will give it a tougher outer skin that will help hold the stitches. PRO TIP: if you want your Foam Clay design to be more flexible, don't wait for the Clay to completely dry before Priming it.
