I was shocked by the wrapped up gem because I certainly expected it to be a quality gem. I am angrily retaining to return it but mostly because of the distance to the only place in the area. I live on an island so it's a great deal of work to drive that far. The gas to return it will be about the same as the cost of the gem. By the way, it is way more blue for a Sapphire so I looked at the plastic bag that it was in and it does say color enhanced. This is the only time I use Amazon for this kind of purchase because I am a collector and to be honest, this would be approximately $2.00 at a gem show! Severely dissatisfied.
