I knew when I bought them that they had plastic instead of glass, but the plastic is so shiny that you can't even see the pictures in them. It's a shame because that's sort of the point... The little hooks on the back for hanging are also all in slightly different spots so they were a real pain to hang in a straight line on the wall.
