I haven't sewed baby clothing in years and now I'm making clothing for grandchildren. The old type of metal snaps were so hard to use and often ruined a garment (which is terrible when you put so much work into sewing it). Anyway, these new snaps work great and look great. With so many different colors you can match whatever fabric you are working with. Be sure that the fabric is not too thick (more than 4 layers) or the snap will not work.
