A: Yes.    I personally owned 6 of them for 9 1/2 years and fished them hard year in year out.   They performed amazing until I sold them for $400 each almost 10 years later to get the new one.   It’s the best reel in the world

A: Yes.It is a very smooth reel and works as it should.

**Q: What is the difference between 5000hgc and 5000XG**
A: HG should be high gear, xg should be regular. hg is reg speed, and xg is high speed.

**Q: Also is your 4000 a new model 2021 ?**
A: Yss it is
