Obviously they aren't going to allow you to exert much torque, but for an always with you emergency (as in any time you don't have your regular tools) wrench to loosen the occasional nut or do other plier duty, these are tough to beat. I bought the cheap Crescent minis, and while adequate and a bargain, they don't compare. It's also nice to get something that isn't made in China. I may invest in one of those cheap plastic sheaths to keep them from opening up in my pocket, but they ride pretty well as is.
