I have the red knob set to the maximum range of motion to give me a larger step, but just keep in mind that your step count won't be as high as if you set the knob to a smaller range of motion. I have not yet used the app, as I'm a person that doesn't like to have to download an app and create an account for everything. But, I have been very pleased with the built-in computer screen on the machine, as it seems to do an effective job of tracking my steps taken, calories burned, and amount of time spent on the machine. Any suggestions?** A: This review helped me solve this issue. "After you pull it out of the box, you need to put the two pedals up and rest the unit standing on the front leg and top meter. Make sure you have the meter facing away from you. This will allow you access to the tension knob #11 located under the center bar. [Pull the pedals up so the tension rod is showing and] Adjust the cable fit around the wheel then tighten the knob. The cable may look a little loose around the wheel, but it will tighten when you place the unit flat on the floor and put the pedals down.To test if you did it correctly, one pedal will go up when you push the other down. If it is not working, put the unit back up on the front bar and make sure the cable is seated properly on the wheel." **Q: Can I use this if I am seated on a chair, or do I have to be standing?** A: I tried it - I guess it depends on height of the chair. Helping me tone my legs with high resistance but could be great cardio for those looking for that use! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good workout at home, but mine started squeaking pretty fast *by S***A on May 14, 2026* I’ve been using this stepper for a little over a month and a half now. It feels sturdy, heavy, and stable while working out. For my height (160 cm / 5’3”), the handle height is actually comfortable, and I like that the handles can be removed. The resistance changes with the red knob in the front. I didn’t immediately figure out which direction does what, but after that it’s easy to adjust. The screen is simple too. One button switches between modes, and a long press turns it on or off. I mostly use it to track time. I wear size 6 shoes, and the platforms feel comfortable for me. The textured surface keeps my feet from slipping, especially in sneakers. In socks it feels a bit rough because of the raised texture, so I personally prefer shoes. My son (42 kg), me (50 kg), and my husband (90 kg) have all used it without any issues. The only thing I really don’t like is the squeaking. Mine started squeaking pretty quickly. If you can ignore the noise, the workout itself is good.
