If not, how long?** A: I've used them for years and have always found them to work at least 12+ hours. Primary use has been in my sleeping bag when it's better 30°-40°F. Definitely a good buy in my opinion. **Q: What is the typical expiration date? I bought this in January 2013.** A: The ones that I bought in April 2013 have an expiration date printed on them of Nov. of 2017. If you look at the description of the 'Hothands 40 Count' here on Amazon, it says "individually sealed in airtight packages to guarantee a shelf life of six years." I don't know personally how true that would be, because I use them all within months of getting them, but you could go to the Hothands website (Hothands.com) and see if they have any more info.. Hope this helps! **Q: how many pairs?** A: 40 pads, not pairs. **Q: Is it 40 pairs as in 80 total or just 40?** A: It’s 40 individual pads. They are great!! ## Frequently Bought Together - HotHands Body & Hand Super Warmers - Long Lasting Safe Natural Odorless Air Activated Warmers - Up to 18 Hours of Heat - 40 Individual Warmers - HotHands Hand Warmers - Long Lasting Safe Natural Odorless Air Activated Warmers - Up to 10 Hours of Heat - 40 Pair - HotHands Toe Warmers - Long Lasting, Odorless, Air Activated - Up to 8 Hours of Heat - 20 Pair --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/232224572-hothands-body-and-hand-super-warmers-long-lasting-safe-natural](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/232224572-hothands-body-and-hand-super-warmers-long-lasting-safe-natural) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
