The grocery bags fit perfectly and are far more affordable than the expensive 'recommended' bags. **Q: how high is it when unfolded** A: Helen,Well... with the lid up and the seat in place... it's approximately 15" high. I am 5' 10" and 195 lbs and have no problems with it. If using it on a flat surface it's a little low, but if using it for camping, simply take 3 bricks with you and level it out. This will raise it well over 2".The best thing is, just use CHEAP 13 gallon bags and don't pay the ridiculous price for the "Doodie" bags. The worst thing is, the hole could be bigger but is OK. And we leave ours set up because the legs are a little hard to break down because the plastic locks are extremely tight.Over all, it was a good purchase and we recommend it. **Q: Do you think this would fit on the floor in the back seat of a car to be used by a small adult, 5'2?** A: If the floor in the back seat has a lot of room it should fit. This toilet is very low so if you have the room to put it on the floor it should fit okay. I hope this helps. **Q: Is this open at the bottom so you attach plastic bags that capture the urine/feces? Or is it like a potty seat & the plastic bottom holds excrement?** A: You open the seat top. Place the bag over the bottom. Put seat down and go. When finished you just remove the bag. ## Frequently Bought Together - Reliance Products FOLD-to-GO Folding Portable Camping Toilet | 300 Pound Capacity | Compact & Lightweight - Reliance Products 2683-03 Double Doodie - Emergency Zone Eco Gel Port-a-Potty Chemicals - Liquid Waste Gelling and Deodorizing Powder --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/2307598-fold-to-go](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/2307598-fold-to-go) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
