I bought it for a 12-year-old year old who is really great with Legos, and I think that is more appropriate. Maybe as young as 10, but that’s pushing it. The pieces are thinner / more delicate than Legos and it’s important to hold the build just right when adding pieces, or the elements come apart. Don’t get me wrong - I think this is a great product and the recipient of my gift loves it. It just requires a bit more delicate handling and patience than Legos. ## Frequently Bought Together - COBI TOP Gun: Maverick F/A-18E Super Hornet, Silver - COBI Top Gun F-14A Tomcat Fighter Plane - 1:48 Scale 754 Piece Building Set with Maverick and Goose Figures - COBI TOP Gun (1986) MIG-28 Aircraft --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/230189797-cobi-top-gun-maverick-f-a-18e-super-hornet-1](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/230189797-cobi-top-gun-maverick-f-a-18e-super-hornet-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
