Alhough I've said in the title that the batteries aren't so good, I'll explain what I mean: the 8 batteries I bought with it don't seem to be the standard AA size, their circumference is slightly too large (I'm only talking about a couple of mm, but that makes a difference if I need to put a cover over them, and most things do require one) but they do work. The indicator lights above each individual charging slot is easy to view and understand.
