It arrived fresh and works well, as expected. The only problem is the price. If you look around a bit, even on Amazon, you can find a 6-volt flashlight, WITH a battery, for less than the price of this replacement battery. For example, here is an Eveready lantern and battery: Eveready(R) Utility Lantern Unfortunately, I made that discovery AFTER I had already purchased this battery. Still, I guess I could always use another flashlight...
