Read the specification sheet for the product on the amozon site or on the product site. I will say the product was VERY easy too use. **Q: Should I seal up larger cracks before or after applying this?** A: I would suggest sealing the crack before applying the final top coat of this product. I did that let the sealed crack dry and then did an overall coating with this. Came out great. **Q: How long will this last on my chimney crown? Can you be more specific than just “years”? (Other products say 15 years.)** A: couldn't tell you, ask me in 15 years. **Q: what is the warranty by the manufacturer?** A: Description says 5 years ## Frequently Bought Together - MasonryDefender Chimney Crown Sealer - Brushable Sealant Fixes Cracked Chimney Tops & Prevents Chimney Leaks - MasonryDefender Chimney Brick Sealer, Clear Water-Based Siloxane Sealer - Breathable Waterproofer for All Exterior, Vertical Masonry Surfaces - 1 Gal - MasonryDefender Chimney Flashing Sealer - Flexible Coating That Protects Chimney Flashings from Water Leaks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/228360427-masonrydefender-chimney-crown-sealer-brushable-waterproof-sealant-prevents-leaks-1](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/228360427-masonrydefender-chimney-crown-sealer-brushable-waterproof-sealant-prevents-leaks-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
