I thought it may not be long enough, but it is plenty long for me.It does leak and as others have noted, once you aim it where it needs to go water is coming out, so be prepared to get a bit wet. I guess you can put your finger over the hole on the bottom of the bottle until ready, but I found that clumsy.Overall, pleased with the results and the product. I wasn't sure it would work so I bought this one which was the cheapest I found. Am pleased I didn't spend more, though it may not last as long as the others because the plastic seems kind of flimsy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works! *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2016* This works great. I have noticed that others have had problems with leaks. I will post a couple of techniques I use to prevent them. First, the neck of the device collapses into the cap for compact storage. Instead of pulling the neck up through the cap, push it up from the bottom. This way, you can feel when the neck is fully and firmly sealed against the inside of the cap. This has prevented leaks around the neck.Second, there's a hole in the bottom to allow air flow. When the bottle is upright, the hole is sealed with some kind of ball bearing. When you tip the bottle upside down, the ball bearing falls away to let air come in so the water will flow. In theory, you're supposed to hold your finger over this hole while you tilt the bottle upside down so water doesn't start flowing until you remove your finger. I found this very awkward! Plus as you are turning the bottle upside down, you have to squeeze it a little just so you don't drop it. All this makes water want to go everywhere. What I have found is, if you don't fill the bottle all the way up, you don't have to bother with any of that. This works especially well for me because my toilet and sink are right beside each other. I could conveniently add water to the bottle as many times as I wanted. But, I've never had to refill. Just filling it a half to two thirds full is plenty of water for cleaning. I don't need to cover the hole in the bottom because the water doesn't start flowing out until the neck of the bottle is already tilted into the toilet. No more water everywhere.As far as how it works as a bidet... It's the only one I've ever used. I don't know how it compares to any other, but it seems to do the job it is designed for. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't leak as much as . . . is overzealous in its job *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2020* This is a confusing review, I do realize. The problem is not that the product leaks; all of the water comes out where it's supposed to. The only problem is that it *really* wants to come out, to the point where if I tip it even slightly (say, to maneuver it into and out of position), the second the little straw's 'head' is below the water, it starts dripping like crazy. You don't even really need to squeeze the dang thing . . . it's more a matter of moving quickly and trying not to drench your thighs and the seat. I might just be overfilling the bottle, but it's not like it can hold all that much anyway. Is it supposed to be a one-use thing that you fill every time you use the bathroom and only fill halfway? I don't know. I'm perplexed. I am a simple woman with a simple upbringing, and this is all a bit new and terrifying.(We're talking about clean tap water, but this review still feels vaguely gross, just considering the subject matter.
