I don't recommend ingesting any quantity of it, but the product has a slightly sweet, fruity flavor and scent when wet, though I can't tell whether this is added or just natural. Once dry on the skin, it leaves a very slight, very thin non-greasy film, something like a moisturizer. Dry, it has a slight scent which is completely different than when wet, which is neither pleasant nor unpleasant (to me) and which washes off easily. Anyway, the new bottle arrived in a standard desertcart box a little bigger than the bottle, with three "pillow" air cushions in it and no other restraint. The cap had been smashed in and lube had leaked, soaking about half the inside of the box. Interestingly outside the box only one small corner of the box showed any moistening. The only problem with all this was that the pump cap was ruined, so we'll need to pour it into a different bottle to dispense it.
