I've been buying these for years. Some people complain about "the smell". These papadum contain asafoetida, which smells. That's just the way it is -- asafoetida smells. BUT they don't TASTE like that. They taste just fine and I love them because they are exactly what I was looking for -- papadum without crap ingredients, unhealthy seed oils, etc. And they use mung beans, which are healthier and easier to digest than other beans (such as lentils). (I realize the label says "Mung Bean Plain Papadum Lentil Crisp" -- they do not contain lentils in the literal sense; only mung beans.) Completely clean ingredients. I toast them briefly in the toaster and eat them. The entire food is not an 1/8 of an inch contained in the box. RIDICULOUS. The box cost more than the food, I have no doubt. It has a very odd taste and unfortunately, I bought several boxes.
