At this price, I highly recommend this beautiful chessboard. - After about a month of playing and many games, I can confidently say that I am extremely happy with this chessboard. The pieces are heavy enough to give the impression of a high-end item. The magnets are just the right strength to hold the pieces even if they are bumped or if you need to move the chessboard. Not too fancy but all that you need. The board lays flat on the table and the rounded edges and smooth wood on the playing surface would make you guess this is a much more expensive item. The pieces are a little rough around the inner lines but it really gives them a handmade feel. I would definitely buy this item again and suggest it to any friends who are not looking for a showpiece.
