Compared to standard materials youll hear crystal clear bell-like high end big open lows and a noticeable increase in overall sustain. Unlike natural materials such as bone and ivory TUSQ is consistent from piece to piece. Without a doubt this is the best synthetic material on the market and it cuts and files beautifully. ;

Review: Working perfectly on my strat - Replaced my plastic nut with this on a 10 year old strat. Saw online that I need to file the edges and bottom for a strat but I am using it as it is and its working fine. Though while removing the original nut, I chipped off the corner of the neck but towards the headstock..so not much damage done. I used a light touch of regular fevicol to stick it in. Feels the sustains and bends are better now.

**Q: anyone put this on sx furrianan or sx strat copy?  how hard was installation/filing etc.?**
A: This is our most common Fender-style replacement nut, however, we always recommend measuring to ensure an accurate fit. Our material is easy to work with and can be modified with some sand paper and other standard tooling

**Q: Anyone known if this nut is close to string sizes 9's, 10's, 11's etc?  How close are the slots, if you know?**
A: Site: "Our nuts are engineered to accept string sets between 9-42 to 11-49 gauges on all electric nuts, 10-47 to 12-53 on acoustic nuts, and 40-95 to 50-105 on bass nuts, all without modification. Our materials can easily be modified to accept larger gauge sets with appropriate files."

Les sillets graphtech sont excellents, je note ici le fait que j'ai commandé un sillet type stratoide (comme précisé dans la boutique), et j'ai reçu un sillet type gibson (modèle pour epiphone)... Ce Modèle n'est évidemment pas du tout compatible avec un manche de type Fender. Il m'est donc absolument inutile.
