## Features

- Fifty Double Layer Wood Wicks, Clipped and Ready to Pour: A 5.1 by 0.5 inch base is bonded to a 5.1 by 0.2 inch booster and pressed into a metal sustainer, so nothing needs soaking, doubling, or a separate holder before you pour.
- The Booster Layer Exists Because Wood Draws Slowly: Cotton pulls fuel faster than wood. In a heavy wax a single ply starves, drowns in its own pool, and leaves unburned wax ringing the glass. The booster adds that draw.
- Wick Size Decides Everything, So Burn Test First: Wax type, jar width, fragrance load, and dye all change how a wick performs. Test one width up and one down first. A wick that tunnels is undersized, one that smokes is oversized.
- Natural Wood on a Weighted Metal Sustainer: The base holds each wick upright while the wax sets, so it will not lean or sink mid pour. Store the pack flat and dry and the two layers stay bonded until the day you use them.
- Trim to 3 to 5 mm of Clean Wood Before Every Burn: Wood will not relight through its own charred crust. Skipping the trim is the single most common reason a wood wick lights, sputters, and dies, and it is not a fault in the wick.
- Best in a Soy Blend, and We Will Tell You Why: NOOR wicks perform best in roughly 75 percent soy to 25 percent paraffin, where the paraffin acts as a combustion inducer. In 100 percent soy expect to test a wider wick or a second one.
- This Is the Refill Pack, No Trimmer in the Box: If a trimmer is already on your bench you are not buying a second one every restock. New to wood wicks, start with the NOOR set that includes the tool.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What size container works best with these wooden wicks?**
A: The 0.5-inch wide NOOR wooden wick is ideal for jars with a 2.5–3 inch diameter. For larger containers, double wicking may be required to achieve a full melt pool and balanced crackling flame.

**Q: Do these wooden wicks create a real crackling sound?**
A: Yes. These are genuine crackling wooden wicks designed to produce a soft, fireplace-like sound when paired with soy or coconut wax blends and properly trimmed to 1/8 inch.

**Q: Can I trim or shorten these 5.1-inch wicks?**
A: Absolutely. These wooden candle wicks can be easily trimmed using scissors or wire cutters. For best performance, keep the wick trimmed to approximately 1/8 inch before each burn.

**Q: Which wax works best with NOOR wooden wicks?**
A: These wicks perform best with soy wax, coconut blends, and paraffin blends. Soy wax is the most popular choice for achieving a clean burn and enhanced crackling effect.

**Q: Why won’t my wooden wick stay lit?**
A: This typically occurs if the wick is too long, the jar is too wide, or fragrance load is excessive. Trim to 1/8 inch, use a 2.5–3 inch jar diameter, and perform a proper burn test for optimal results.
