**Q: Does this work for the Rhino EQ-300 whole house filter?**
A: Yes

**Q: are replacement o rings available for the aquasana housing?**
A: Order ahead of time. I’m still waiting for my replacement o-rings directly from aquasana 2wks later. Since the system was already installed when I moved into my new house, this is a trial order. If it fits I plan on ordering again to have on hand in an emergency. Currently my o-rings are leaking and I’m stuck as I can’t find proper replacements locally.

**Q: Is the 10" filter the one for the second hub before the UV sterilizer on a rhino whole house system?**
A: It is the pre-filter for the older Rhino units.  Check with Aquasana on the current system recommendation.

**Q: Can i assume this is a 4 pack??**
A: Yes, it is a four pack. These are so inexpensive that I replace them at 3 or 4 month intervals.

fits right, good value. However, if you procrastinate 2 years, 6 months and a few days to replace, and only really do so because your water pressure has dropped to the point of a slow trickle, beware. When your water pressure returns to normal thanks to the new filter, it's going to flush out all the crud that collected in the tanks that collected because of the low water pressure. If you also forget that the line needs to have the air bled out, you may end up with an angry spouse. Specifically, if she's the first one to use the water by flushing the toilet, it may sound like it's ready to explode. You may end up running into the bathroom to a very worried spouse and wonder how it appears that your sewer has backed up on the second floor of the house. Your kids and dog may then join in the bathroom and start yelling/barking that we need to get out of the house. Fortunately, with a minute or so, the toilet will settle down and after a few flushes, the brown crud in the water will disappear. Also, if you also forgot to get the finishing filter replacement cartridge, count yourself lucky or you'd probably have to replace it right away.
