A: Yes, the JL686A can power 6 units of Aruba Instant On AP11. The JL686A has a total power output of 60W, and each Aruba Instant On AP11 consumes up to 10W of power. This means that the JL686A can power up to 6 AP11s without any problems.

**Q: How much noise does this switch make?**
A: The non-PoE model is silent, but the PoE model does have fans.

**Q: Can i connect to the switch from my nighthawk x10-ad7200 r9000 router using the one of the 10g sfp+ ports on the switch?**
A: Your router can only handle 1GB throughput so the 10GB won't provide anything extra other than giving you 8 ports to use for your network and using the SFP port for the WAN connection.  If you wish to use the SFP with a RJ45 connection, you will need to purchase Fibermall SFP-GE-TS-HPA .  I have purchased these and tested to work with that switch.
