Review: No need for a gym when traveling - This bag of bands is absolutely terrific for a workout on the road. When away from home I always take it with me. I primarily use the green and blue bands, but it all depends on your strength. You can work out every body part. I like to do three sets and then a fourth drop set, meaning I pause for 20 seconds and then repeat the exercise I just did. I do upper body/lower body on alternate days for 15 minutes. They are really terrific. Pro tip: bring a pair of light lifting gloves with you and throw them in the bag with the bands.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How far can they stretch safely?**
A: In my May 6, 2022 review I wrote:  I'm not sure what the maximum safe extension is, but I'd be very reluctant to double the length of any section of any band (e.g., standing on the loop for an assisted pull-up, or double-looping a lighter band to shorten and tighten it up.)

**Q: are these good for hamstring curls?**
A: I would say this is a good set overall to have because it has different resistance strength levels you can choose from.  For the types of exercises you are talking about you might want to use the higher resistance- red color.  

Another band I have used is the SPRI super heavy band but it is only a single band.  Not sure how hard of resistance you are looking for and the set might be a better option.

I am starting to workout at home. PT recommended that i buy some resistance bands to help as a starting base to working out and losing weight. I chose these bands because they were affordable and come in different colors for the different resistance weights. This gives great versatility when working out.. The thicker bands give a stronger resistance, and the smaller bands giver less. Just slip the one end to a door frame and you can easily attach the bands and workout from any door.
