About the same as ON. Both companies are local to me so they have been around for years but ON does private labeling for local gyms so it’s all over the place. Now appears to be a higher quality product and their supplements are great quality too. I have taken Now Men’s Sport Multi Vitamins for years. This prices of this high level protein is more affordable than other top reviewed Whey Isolate protein on the market and less added fillers. Now Whey Isolate is my new go to. The taste is just fine. I chug it right down anyway. I don’t want ti call it bland, it’s simply just not as sweet as ON. I’m not looking to sip and savor my post workout protein. Give it a try. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chalky taste *by A***R on September 4, 2026* Was doing comparisons between protein powders and Google AI almost blew a circuit breaker, from extolling the various virtues of NOW sports protein. Cheaper than nutricost, family business and inspections are in place to ensure the highest quality. Usually I order unflavored powder and just deal with the bland taste. Inadvertently ordered the chocolate version of NOW isolate whey powder and now I get to ingest extra additives that I ain't real excited about. Never have a problem with sunflower lecithin being added as it makes the powder easy to mix with water, instead of a battle. Could definitely do without the stevia. I mix this with water and it has a very strong chocolate taste. Unfortunately, it also has a very chalky taste to it. I'll just hunker down, finish off this 5 pound jar and then change over to the unflavored for my next purchase. Price is very competitive, quality is there and the isolate seems to be doing its job.
