What settings did you use?** A: The Canon Pixma printers are built to be considered an extremely sensitive printer. I personally have the Pro9500. The quality of the pictures are superb, even when using the less expensive Canon paper. However, saying that, when I run my cleaning process once a week, I use standard Costco printer paper, which is typically 20lb test. Long story short, I learned the hard way that when I mixed other vender's paper for higher than norm expected results, the quality diminished greatly; not to mention the short lived life of my printer/s. I would recommend using paper that the vender suggests because it is true, the printer prints with better quality and seems to last longer. For myself, I use Epson Matted Heavyweight paper (44/45lb) in my HP LaserJet Pro 450 for DVD and CD case covers and the results are very good. So there are some vender products that can cross products, but for Canon, I would use only what is suggested for best results. You just always want to be sure and use the bright white side of the paper, not the duller side. **Q: Is this double sided paper or single sided?** A: Look carefully at the description - I've discovered that if you order 50 pages, you'll receive the double-sided. If you order the 100 page quantity, the description changes, and you'll get single sided paper - hence the discrepancies in the reviews. The texture amd quality is great, thickness is perfect, print quality when its set to correct setting is great, and even on plain paper setting looks really good.
