I would suggest taping them up from the ceiling side of tiles first to get a pre cut look and then go back starting from center of ceiling and use the advised adhesive in caulk tube. Review: You would never know it’s Styrofoam - This ceiling tiles are the coolest thing ever, super lightweight made from basically Styrofoam. Beautiful designs, they are easily damaged though, so you do have to be gentle when installing, not pushing very hard, or you will end up with finger indentations. We went to install and thought we bought glue, but we did not, we bought caulking, but surprisingly that worked excellent! They are super easy to use, we installed this on top of a popcorn ceiling, and it hides it 100%. You can decide to paint over these if you want, I chose to just put them up and let them up without painting because I like the little glisten. they worked excellent! **Q: When painting these tiles, can I spray paint these tiles, as opposed to painting by hand.?**
A: As long as paint is not acrylic. My painter sprayed but he was a professional

**Q: will white glue be seen through?**
A: I prefer clear glues but we just installed 420 sqft. of the R24 and used a white glue with no bleed through issues (use a quality glue and make sure it is applicable for foam)

**Q: How would you need to prep a popcorn ceiling to apply these?**
A: I put mine on a regular ceiling and they’re gorgeous. There were several comments regaling popcorn ceilings…maybe read a bit further or go to the direct website?

**Q: When spray painting these ceiling tiles, should i use flat white paint? and do i need 2 coats of spray paint or is 1 coat spray paint sufficient enoug**
A: I hand painted mine. Took two coats. I’d recommend 2 coats.

This ceiling tiles are the coolest thing ever, super lightweight made from basically Styrofoam. ### ⭐ Arrived badly damaged. Dented, scratched, unusable

Terribly packaged. These are extremely thin lightweight pieces of foam and they were shipped in a box with zero protection... Not even the usual Amazon Brown paper inside it.. no peanuts or popcorn.. nothing. They were damaged on all sides.. scratched up, deep digs and dents, the edges all out of shape. And even if they were packaged properly and arrived in tact, I'm not sure I would want to use these since there is zero finish on the Styrofoam. To use these, you'd likely have to put some kind of coating on it to ensure your paint stays. It's a lot of work. I guess maybe if you're doing a large enough surface area this makes sense, or if your ceilings are tall enough then nobody would notice though. Other than that, this ain't really for a regular home owner DIY
