It is a soy based candle with a wood wick, and it comes in a beautiful glass jar with a glass lid. It is a slow burning candle with a long burning time. Initially, I was drawn in by the gorgeous ornate-pink glass jar/lid, but was happy to see they had a Rose/Oud scent. The candle smells amazing! It has a lovely rose scent but I wish it had just slightly more of the Oud scent, but I would buy this exact candle again! I would like to eventually try the other scents that are available and it is a win- win situation because of the pretty reusable jars. This would be the PERFECT gift for a candle or glass lover.
