Review: Simple, No-fail Directions! - Go to your nearest hardware store and ask for paint brushes used for STAIN, and PAINTERS TAPE. This paint is acrylic, but is runny, so a brush meant for stain is best. Line the base of your shoes with the tape (you will need to tear your tape a lot to get the shape of your shoes perfectly) this keeps it from getting on the shoe itself while painting. DO NOT be generous with this paint! Be patient, and scrape the side of your brush against the inside of the container to get excess paint off your brush to keep from uneccesary running. The bottom of the boots I used this product on had almost a felt like material, so it dried within an hour. For the more sleek bottoms, like heels, you will need to let dry for much longer. Lightly test it with a finger tip every hour to make sure it's completely dry before adding another coat or two if needed (remember to clean your brush with WARM water until water runs CLEAR, and let dry before use). I used three coats, and plan to seal it with plasti-dip for extra protection. I hope these directions are more informative than the ones previously given. This is a process that CAN TAKE MANY DAYS to complete, so don't get this product and expect your shoes to be ready the same day you applicate! If you are in a hurry, maybe put them facing a fan blowing air on a gentle cycle so it doesn't blow your shoes over and ruin your flooring or whatever you have them propped up against. This can be washed off with soap an water if mistakes are made on hard surfaces, NOT on fabrics or carpet. I am not an expert, but I do a lot of cosplay crafts. This product worked well for me, and I hope it works well for future buyers!

The color is PERFECT!! It's perfect to replace the pain on your red bottoms if you wear it off. So easy to paint in and the dries very fast. No smell to this paint and since it dries so fast it's not sticky. It's very thin and you can LIGHTLY dip your brush in and you can cover your whole shoe!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Perfectly!

I ran across a used pair of Louboutin espadrilles I’d never seen and absolutely had to have, but the bottoms were a bit trashed. The shoes were in pristine condition otherwise, so I bought them and went in search of a product that would restore the soles. This is the stuff I found, and I admit that I was skeptical - especially since the bottoms of these are a a lot different from the normal, run of the mill Louboutins. These aren’t smooth - at all. I went to work and thoroughly cleaned and lightly sanded the loose bits of paint off the soles so I’d have a smooth surface to work on, and then I cleaned the soles again. It wasn’t easy with these because the soles are “weird”, but I made it happen. It’s extremely thin, but covers surprisingly well. I ended up putting on 3 coats, but they were covered perfectly in 2. I used *several* coats of the high-gloss acrylic finisher on top of the red because I’m not a fan of the whole “leaving a piece of me behind wherever I walk” .... or whatever it was Christian Louboutin once said about why his soles are painted, and not red through and through. I want my soles red ALL THE TIME, and this is the perfect product to make that possible. I sanitized the shoes inside and out after I was done, and put shoe trees in them so they’d hold their shape while in my closet. They look brand new again! ***Be sure to use the sealer!*** It costs a bit more, but it truly makes all the difference in the world. It’s worth it to spend the extra $10!
