The pin size seems 5to be pretty well standard castor size for replacement on most chairs **Q: The images shows an "installation height of 4.5 inches". what measures 4.5 inches? the floor to the top of the rod, or floor to the bottom of the rod?** A: Floor to top of rod. **Q: Can I drill a hole into the bottom of a wooden chair and add these?** A: Yes, but without a bushing to protect the wood, I think it (the wood) is going wear and get loose and sloppy fairly quickly. Bushings may be available that you can press in first? **Q: What is the difference between black and gray options? In photos, looks like black wheels are more clear?** A: They seem dark looking at them from the side. My home office chair is black so that's what I purchased and they are fine. Liked them enough to get 2 additional sets for 2 of my work office chairs. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/217704335-longads-office-chair-caster-wheels-with-brakes-5-packs-3](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/217704335-longads-office-chair-caster-wheels-with-brakes-5-packs-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
