**Q: Does this still require oil or butter before adding the crepe batter?**
A: No.  We've had this crepe maker for 2 years and have never needed to use oil or butter before adding the batter.

**Q: Does it comes with the spatula and spreader tool shown in the picture? I don't see it shown on the box.**
A: Yes. Mine came with the two tools.

**Q: How far does the dial turn?  Mine stops at clear**
A: Mine the dial was stuck at clear. I had to put forcefully turn it so it could go past clear. After that it works properly.

**Q: Is there a version with lid?**
A: I use a few paper towels and cover that with an elastic lid cover... works great!

I use this for pancakes and it works great! I love that it's smaller than the normal skillets that you never have place to store. It fits in the cabinet like a pan. It's so easy to clean. My husband has made eggs on it too. We really like this skillet. It cooks well with no issues on temperature. This would make a good gift to someone with limited kitchen space.
