## Description

The DonJoy UltraSling III Shoulder Support Sling leads the way in both comfort and convenience. The soft padded adjustable straps provide a customized fit and provides an incredible level of comfort. The breathable inner lining wicks away moisture and provides ventilation. It promotes auxiliary air exchange to reduce risk of secondary infections. The de-rotation strap connects to the DonJoy UltraSling III and prevents internal rotation by securely holding your arm in a neutral position. It allows your arm to be positioned in a variety of positions dependent on post-operative requirements (either more posterior or anterior). The quick release buckles and easy-open front panel allow you to easily remove this shoulder sling for exercise or therapy. Ideal for post-operative treatment following, rotator cuff repairs, Bankart procedures, capsular shifts, glenohumeral (GH) dislocation/subluxation, and soft tissue repairs/strains. Review: Good - Very nice (in Borat voice) Seriously though I had 3 different slings. I ended up using this the most through my clavicle fracture. It was way more stable with the cushion than my other 2 which was very helpful for the first couple weeks. You can take off the cushion which I did for another couple weeks. The only time I switched was when I was more healed and wanted more mobility. Worth paying extra for to get a straight and good heal. Honestly my best purchase of 2025

**Q: The neck strap is cutting into my neck. Is there another shoulder pad option to spread the pressure out?**
A: Yes, it's only been 2 weeks of the 6 I have to wear this 24/7, and it's been killing my neck and very irritating. Strap keeps twisting and scratches my skin. Sad I have to go buy something to help this expensive sling.

**Q: The sling is causing my elbow to be sore. There is a hard spot in the sling that is rubbing my elbow and making it very sore. Anyone else have this?**
A: Yes, I had the same problem, and solved it with a small, soft microfiber cloth folded into a 6" square and placed in the elbow portion of the sling.  This provided enough soft padding for my elbow to stop being rubbed raw.

**Q: How is the model iii different from the model ii?**
A: It's lighter weight and somewhat cooler. I did find it a little bit rougher inside than the model 2 but still preferred the model 3. As long as my skin was covered, the roughness was not a problem. All slings are uncomfortable, but the model 3 was less so. I wouldn't give you 10 cents for a box car load of model 2's. I hated that thing and wanted to light it on fire, stomp on it and throw it off of a cliff. I'm having a little fun here, but seriously, anyone who has had to wear one of these for two month after shoulder surgery knows what I mean. They will drive you ca-ra-zee and even a small improvement can make a big difference.

Very comfortable - I've had to sleep with a sling after surgery for the last 5 weeks, and surprisingly I'm getting some decent rest. Runs a bit hot, so I have a lighter, cheaper sling for anything active. Biggest complaint is the instructions are so very minimal and only cover the main configuration for rotator cuff. I had to figure out my setup via trial and error and still not sure I'm doing it right
