The pockets are the exact size of a piece of paper which doesn’t give it any more room it just needs to be quarter of an inch to half an inch wider to be actually useful **Q: How many papers will it fit at a time? Would 40 pages be able to fit easily without ripping?** A: 40 pages would be a snug fit however the pockets would not be in jeopardy of ripping. The challenge I've had with that many papers is the snap not reaching to snap closed.
