He ruins all balls he gets, but not this one. This one he can’t get his mouth over it, so he can’t chew it. He kicks and chases it, it really tires him out. After 20 minutes of sanding, the surface was good as new. THIS IS HIS FAVORITE TOY. Unfortunately, 4 years of abuse and sanding, the surface got thin and a dent formed. This dent allowed him to get his jaw around the ball, but he couldn't or wouldn't release his jaw. It took me 3 weeks to find this ball again so that I could replace it. I will be ordering several backups. There is no weak spot on our ball, I cannot explain that comment. One of our vendors did sell a version of the 10" size Virtually Indestructible Ball which has a hole that contains a threaded plug. The purpose of this plug is so that you can remove the plug and fill the ball with water or stones to make it wobble. The inherent problem of course is that a dog can get his teeth around that hole and chew. However, that vendor no longer sells on Amazon.
