The Budget Frames That Look Surprisingly High-End had a whole collection of photos waiting to be framed, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on frames that still needed to look elegant. These were exactly what I was hoping for. I used them to display some of my daughter's favorite Washington, D.C. photos from her summer internship, and they fit beautifully into the "Georgetown meets Ralph Lauren meets Ivy League on a college budget" style we were creating for her dorm room. The gold finish is simple and classy, not overly shiny or gaudy, and it gives the photos a polished, finished look. Once they were hanging on the wall, no one would have guessed they were such an affordable find. I also appreciated how lightweight they are, which made hanging them much easier, especially in a dorm where you're trying to avoid putting unnecessary weight on the walls.
