This is a probiotic live microbial inoculation product kinda like EM, which I've tried before & made my own as well as buying supposed microbial products only to find zero live microbes under a microscope.. This is a live mother culture with the regular beneficial mix of microbes plus 2 strains of PNSB purple non sulfur bacteria- verified under a microscope. What most products are missing, besides live microbes is also PNSB - not the case with this amazing product . I have cherry picked my beneficial bacteria strains for different growth stages. NSB nitrogen solubilizing, PSB phosphorous solubilizing & the ever elusive hard to find strains of KSB & Si ( potassium solubilizing ) & Silica solubilizing bacteria. The fact that they added 2 strains of PNSB makes this the best choice for me.. i had better results with using this SCD proBio balance vs the bioAg version or competitors- em1 , Quantum Organic Light or homemade LABS. Both BioAg & Quantum are good products , but I seen results hit the girls way faster using this instead. I also use different enzymes as well to help the rhizosphere & microbiology counts. I can't say 1 bad thing about this product. The mother culture is cost effective & easy to make a large amount from a small amount. I bought the smallest size and made a couple gallons from it. Great investment. The only thing I'd like to see is strain specific info & Spore/ CFU counts on the bottle , I had to do quite a bit of digging online to be sure. But rest assured it's alive & teeming , first thing I did was put it on a slide under the microscope.
