I wan't to use it at 14" but it look like higer you go the less stable it will be?** A: This would likely depend most on your typing style. It can certainly go this high, but if you tilt the keyboard down (away from you) so the angle of your forearm from the elbow was more than 90 degrees it might help. This is how I used it, but I'm over 6 feet and it was comfortable to have this position for me. **Q: Can this tray be moved up and down easily? I like to sit for about 30% of the workday so it will be up and down frequently.** A: It can be a little tedious to do so. I also like to sit 20-30% of the day so I have the stand set and just take my keyboard off of it and set it on the desk for the non standing portion of the day. **Q: Is the laptop part of the table smooth or textured? In the picture it looks like there are little bumps. Thanks!** A: It is textured however it is still slick. There is a lip at the bottom that the keyboard rests against but if you put it at too much of an angle it can still slip over the top depending upon how the front of the Laptop is made. If you're using at that the flat angle to probably about 35 to 40ﾟ of an angle you'll be just fine. I use mine for D Jane and I have my DJ controller underneath it with the angle of the stand at a pretty sharp angle and I do just fine with it. I have an HP computer that I use that has a sloped front bottom part of the keyboard and so like a said if I get too much of an angle it can slip over the top but it's actually fairly difficult to do. The nice part is as it does have a mouse extension that you can put on either the left or right side of the keyboard stand. I actually use a trackball mouse so I can set my and on that extension wing and it doesn't move so I don't have to worry about actual space on where to put it since my mouse stay still and I just move the trackball. It would be perfect if easier to adjust the height. ### ⭐ NOT E-Z to adjust! *by S***N on March 10, 2024* Oh, you can adjust it to your preferred height, all right - after pressing the button on each individual joint and clicking through the preset stopping points. What is that, like 8 separate joints to adjust one at a time?You can't press the buttons on both sides at the same time, it's too difficult. You need one hand to press the button and one hand to move the joint So each individual joint, one at a time, while your keyboard starts to slide off. It's not practical at all to go from standing to sitting to standing again, unless you set it where you want it for standing, then remove your keyboard and mouse and set it aside for sitting. It's just slightly ridiculous for the price, and totally not worth it IMO. My office actually bought me a rising monitor and keyboard stand that allows me to adjust it to any height I want with the press of a lever, and it blows this one out of the water. If you want to go from standing to sitting to standing throughout your day, don't waste you money on this one - spend the extra money for a REAL adjustable stand instead.
